Zhejiang Yuexiu University is a full-time undergraduate college approved by the Ministry of Education. The university is located in Shaoxing, Zhejiang Province, one of the first historical and cultural cities in China, the famous water town of Jiangnan River and the hometown of Lu Xun. Founded in 1981, the university was upgraded to an undergraduate university with the approval of the Ministry of Education in 2008. In 2017, the Academic Degrees Committee of Zhejiang Province listed it as a master's degree granting and construction unit. The university now has two campuses, Jishan and Jinghu, covering an area of nearly 1,300 mu and a campus construction area of more than 440,000 square meters. The library has a collection of 2.04 million Chinese and foreign paper books, of which 220,000 are original foreign paper books. There are over 1.14 million electronic books and 51 databases.
